The colors!

Hello there... I am now trying to get back to work... giving myself projects... remembering how much I love all of this...

I am currently having a problem with posting my images... the colors are not coming out as vivid as they actually are (and sometimes not close a tall)... if you know how to correct this problem please help me out. Feel free to comment with any input you may have to correct the situation...

Thanks!

Scanned images never show the vibrancy of the real thing, which is why paintings are so fun to look at in person.

However, you could play with the color balance, if that's off, or maybe up the saturation a bit in photoshop (Ctrl+U).

I had the same problem. My file came up in shades of blue instead of the real colors! let me know if you figure out the solutuion.

hey Jamie! I think I figured out what to do about this... try the "save for web" option in photoshop and make sure you select jpeg. That worked for me when saving it as a jpeg the normal way, didnt.

Hi everyone, hope you worked out how to get the colour problem out already. If not, I think I know what can fix it (coz it happened to me as well). What Victoria said is right, it is because the format of the file is not RGB.

Some time we save the file format in JPG (CMYK) which can cause problems like this. By saving/exporting JPG and in RGB colour schemes should get rid of the problem.

Hope this helps
